October 2019: Syndicate Update

Updated: Nov 1, 2019

Hi guys and welcome to September's edition of the Syndicate blog, Lets get into it!

Booms Away kicked off the week and month in handicap action from trap 4 it looked a tricky handicap but he made it look so easy and won very impressively at 5/1 (Vid Below)

Young Puppy Novice, Princess Boom continued her intro to racing at Newcastle in a 480m trial she won her trial despite showing some greeness but she is certainly heading in the right direction (Vid Below)

Deja Boom continued her return to fitness in a handicap from trap 3, she was awkward out of the traps slipping, forefitting alot of ground and time from the off, to her credit she plugged on and was a few lengths off her rivals, she should progress each week and needs to break better, shes had less than 10 runs for us in the last year, she has shown us she has ability lets hope she can prove that in coming weeks when confidence and fitness is back up to scratch.

Finally Booms Away a dog thriving for us and been very good to the syndicate won yet again adding to Wednesdays win, he just keeps on impressing us, here is his race from trap 5 (Vid Below)

New puppy Princess Boom in her final qualifying trial last night in Trap 2 (Vid Below),

In other news Sonlink Booms return from season saw her lead til 3/4s and like previous week's not staying the trip as well as she can, Booms Away also ran he came 2nd and clocked a decent time for him , he's really running well at the moment.

Wow just wow is all i have to stay for the start of week 3 for the syndicate, Booms Away was up first in A4 and made it 3 wins from last 4 runs with a cozy success from trap 4 in a career best time of 29.28s he is simply running out of his skin at the moment.

Next up was the eagerly awaited debut for puppy Princess Boom who was slow away but a injection of pace meant she made up to lead early and kicked on, she was challenged but made it to the line 1st with a very decent debut, she showed a great attitude and should be plenty to come from her (Vid Below)

Then to cap off the weeek the syndicate made it 3 wins from 3 runners, with Deja Boom who won in handicap action from trap 4 (Vid Below), this was a very sweet win given the niggles shes had since we have had her, and she did her owners proud picking up her 1st win since joining the syndicate.

New young puppy "Princess Boom" running from Trap 2 kicked off the week on Wednesday for the syndicate, after winning on debut in A6 she was upped in grade to A5, this was just her 2nd career run and although meeting trouble on several occasions and fluffing the start there was a lot of positives from the race, if you see the video below her attitude and determination was very clear to see in a positive manner.

Next up was Sonlink Boom who continues to build on fitnesss following her season break, she led like she does and saw the race out much better than previous weeks coming a respectable 3rd in A3, lets hope she gets back to old self in the coming weeks.

3 runners on Wednesday with Princess Boom first up in just her 3rd ever race in A5 company , although not trapping fantastic again she had enough early boot to lead at the 1st bend she kicked on and won again, I think a lot of this pup and think she will keep pushing up the grades in time (Vid Below) Trap4.

Next up was the in-form Booms Away who was up in to A3 company for the first time, sadly he didn't trap and gave away around ten lengths at the start.

Next was Deja Boom from Trap3 in handicap action, coming here on the back of a recent win, she looked harshly handicapped in this race however she ran a blinder in my opinion to come a close 3rd behind 2 decent dogs (Vid Below)

Finally to wrap up Wednesday, latest recruit Moaning Skye had his first look at the track in a 3 dog trial, he won his trial by over 3 lengths in a respectable 29.61s, he will have one more trial next week then he will be racing.

On to Thursday where Sonlink Boom who continues her return from season, despite coming 4th she clocked a decent time considering she got bumped, shes heading the right way and I am sure she will be picking up a 9th career win in the coming weeks, (Vid Below)
